According to the value forecast and study result of pollution discharge of exploitation
project of CFD 11-1/11-2 oil field, under normal production, the impact radius of oil sewage shall not exceed 1 sea mile (1.85km); the pervasion and excursion of slurry, drilling scraps and suspending sands shall not exceed 4km away from the discharge venue. Based on this, it is determined that the assessment scope of this exploitation project under normal operation/production will be within the 4km radius by taking the platform as the center, as well as the sea area 4km away from both sides of seabed pipeline.
The assessment of current status of ocean environment quality covers the sea area of about
32x18km surrounding the oil field facilities. Please refer to the Figure 4-1 in Chapter 4
Survey and Assessment of Current Status of Ocean Environment Quality.
The impact scope of accidental oil spill depends on the scale of oil spill as well as the
effect of emergency disposal. The assessment of impact by oil spill to the fishery wealth
and fishing production will consider the actual impact scope, and the assessment of impact
to other environmental sensitive targets will extend to the coastal sea area.
